David Dibble
As a 24-year-old recent college
graduate, David founded Dibble Electronics with $5000 in an old warehouse and
built it into a $10M business. He
was an early adapter in the quality movements of the late 1970s and early
1980s, with the world’s #1 quality guru, W. Edwards Deming, and Nobel Prize winner, Ilya Prigogine, as his early influencers.
He became known as an expert in the field, was
president of the San Diego chapter of the Council for Continuous Improvement
and often spoke to business groups about the practical implementation of
quality and systems principles in business.
His life’s work turned out to be the creation of new model for Systems-Based, Bottom/Up, Front Line Driven Transformation of the workplace, including the systems in healthcare where care is actually delivered.
This model morphed into 3D Change Management for Healthcare. The engine for implementation of this
new model is Nobel Prize winning systems science, embedded in his 3D Change Management Model for for front line healthcare transformation.
